What the numbers say
A 250% match looks generous until you see the turnover: at 40x on deposit + bonus, a $100 deposit means $14,000 of bets before the bonus money is yours. At 35x, it's $12,250. Every bet in that turnover pays the house edge, so most players lose the bonus before clearing it. That's not a reason never to take one; it's a reason to read the multiple before you click accept.
