betting sites that accept litecoin in ireland - physical Litecoin coin

Litecoin is the quiet workhorse of crypto betting. It's quick, it's cheap to move, and nearly every crypto cashier has heard of it. If you're in Ireland and want to fund a betting account with LTC, the real questions aren't "does anyone take it?" but "which network does this site want, what's the minimum, and what coin will they pay me back in?" This guide walks you through exactly that, the way a mate who has made the mistakes already would explain it over a pint.

18+ only. This is general information, not financial or legal advice. Ireland's regulator, the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), licenses betting operators, and none of the offshore sites we mention here (Cloudbet, BetUS, VegasAces and SlotsParadise, or others you may see such as Stake or BC.Game) is licensed in Ireland. That means no Irish regulator can help you if something goes wrong. If gambling stops being fun, Gambling Care's helpline is free, confidential and open 24/7 on 1800 936 725 (Northern Ireland: 08000 886 725).

The quick answer

Why Litecoin at all?

Most people who bet with crypto start with Bitcoin or a stablecoin like USDT. Litecoin earns its place for a few plain reasons:

The catch is the same as any non-stablecoin: the price moves. Deposit €100 worth of LTC, have the price drop 10% while you're mid-session, and your balance is worth €90 in euro terms before you've placed a bet. Up 10% and it's worth €110. That swing is a second gamble stacked on top of the first, which is why some punters convert to a stablecoin once the money lands.

What we found on each site's cashier

SiteLitecoin depositsWithdrawalsLicensed in Ireland?
CloudbetListed (Litecoin mainnet and BNB Smart Chain versions)Paid in the coin you hold; Cloudbet says withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours, network fee shown before you confirmNo. Curaçao licence only
BetUSLitecoin deposit guide in its help centreBetUS says some methods take a few hours, others several business days; ID check before payoutNo
VegasAcesLitecoin logo on the banking page; crypto min $10, max $50,000Banking page names Bitcoin for payouts; ID may be requestedNo
SlotsParadiseLitecoin logo on the banking page; crypto min $10, max $50,000Banking page names Bitcoin for payouts; ID required "in most cases"No

That table is a snapshot, not a promise. Sites add and drop coins, raise minimums and change networks without much fanfare, which is exactly why the next section matters more than any list.

How to check any cashier for Litecoin in five minutes

Whatever site you're looking at, run the same routine before you deposit. It takes five minutes and has saved plenty of punters from a painful support ticket.

  1. Open the deposit screen, not the marketing page. The banner may say "all major cryptos". The cashier is what counts. Log in, hit deposit, and look for Litecoin or LTC in the coin list.
  2. Check which network the address is for. If you see a choice such as "Litecoin" and "LTC (BEP-20)" or "BNB Smart Chain", they are different. A native Litecoin address normally starts with L, M or ltc1. A BNB Smart Chain address starts with 0x. Send on the network that matches the address you copied, every time.
  3. Note the minimum. Sending less than the minimum often means the deposit is not credited at all. Cloudbet shows its minimum on the deposit screen; VegasAces and SlotsParadise list $10 for crypto.
  4. Find out how you'll be paid back. This is the step people skip. Some sites pay out in the coin you deposited; others pay only in Bitcoin. If you want LTC back, read the withdrawal page before you deposit.
  5. Look for the verification trigger. Many offshore sites let you deposit with little more than an email, then ask for ID at withdrawal. Cloudbet's terms, when we checked, start full verification once cumulative deposits reach about US$2,200. Plan for ID being requested so it doesn't catch you out mid-withdrawal.

Native Litecoin vs "Litecoin on BNB Smart Chain"

This trips up more people than anything else. "Litecoin" can mean two things on a cashier:

Both are called Litecoin and both have the same price, but they are not interchangeable at the address level. Pick the cashier option that matches the network your exchange or wallet will send on. If the exchange's withdrawal screen asks "Network: Litecoin or BSC?", choose the one that matches the site's address. When in doubt, use native Litecoin to a native address. It's the simplest path and avoids bridged tokens, which Cloudbet, for one, says it doesn't support.

The fees, laid out honestly

Your Litecoin deposit can cost you money in three places. None of them is huge on its own, but they add up on small deposits.

  1. Buying LTC. Exchanges charge a trading fee or a spread (the gap between the buy and sell price).
  2. Sending LTC. The exchange charges a withdrawal fee, which is usually a small fixed amount of LTC.
  3. Coming back to euro. When you cash out winnings, you pay another spread or fee to sell.

Here's how a fixed network or withdrawal fee eats into deposits of different sizes. The fees are made-up round examples, not any exchange's real charge:

Fixed fee (euro equivalent)€10 deposit€20€50€100€250
€0.020.20%0.10%0.04%0.02%0.01%
€0.101.00%0.50%0.20%0.10%0.04%
€0.505.00%2.50%1.00%0.50%0.20%

Two lessons. First, Litecoin's low fees matter most on small deposits, where a Bitcoin fee on a busy day can be a big slice. Second, the trading spread usually matters more than the network fee. A 1% spread to buy and 1% to sell back means €100 becomes about €98.01 after a round trip, even if you never place a bet. Shop around exchanges and avoid buying with a card at a "convenience" price if you can.

Step by step: your first Litecoin deposit

  1. Buy a small amount of LTC on an exchange you trust, or move it from your own wallet.
  2. Log in to the betting site and open the cashier. Choose Litecoin and the correct network.
  3. Copy the deposit address with the copy button. Don't retype it. Check the first and last four characters after pasting.
  4. Send a test amount first, just above the minimum. Wait for it to credit.
  5. Send the rest once the test lands. Two transactions cost a tiny bit more in fees, but you'll sleep better.
  6. Screenshot the transaction ID (the "TXID" or "hash"). If anything goes wrong, support will ask for it.

Crypto transactions are irreversible. BetUS's own terms make the point bluntly: it accepts no liability for a deposit sent to the wrong address or network. Neither will anyone else.

Getting paid: the part that matters most

Depositing is easy. Withdrawing is where you find out what kind of site you're dealing with.

On Cloudbet

Cloudbet's help centre, when we checked, said withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours, the minimum varies by coin, and the network fee is shown before you confirm. Because Cloudbet keeps balances per coin, if you hold LTC you can withdraw LTC. Our crypto withdrawals guide covers what slows payouts down.

On BetUS

BetUS says some payout methods can complete within a few hours while others take several business days, and that payouts are reviewed once requirements are met. Its terms set a $10 minimum withdrawal, a 1x rollover on deposits, ID before payouts, and payouts only to the verified account holder.

On VegasAces and SlotsParadise

Both banking pages, when we checked, named Bitcoin as the payout method. So you can deposit with Litecoin, but plan to get your money back in Bitcoin. That's fine if you hold Bitcoin anyway; just factor in the price of converting back to LTC or euro. Both also say ID may be requested and a withdrawal stays pending while documents are reviewed.

What tends to slow every payout

Bet with crypto at Cloudbet

Should you keep it in Litecoin or swap to a stablecoin?

Here's how a €100 deposit looks in euro terms if LTC moves while it sits in your account, before any bet result:

LTC price moveBalance in euro terms
−10%€90
−5%€95
+5%€105
+10%€110

If you want your betting results to reflect your betting, not the crypto market, a stablecoin like USDT or USDC removes that swing. Our USDT betting guide explains the trade-offs, including which networks to pick. If you're happy holding Litecoin long term anyway, betting in LTC is a reasonable choice. Just be honest with yourself about which gamble you're actually taking.

Is it legal to bet with Litecoin from Ireland?

Ireland's Gambling Regulation Act set up the GRAI, which began accepting licence applications in February 2026 and issued its first remote betting licences from 1 July 2026. Only GRAI-licensed operators may lawfully take bets from Irish customers under the new regime. None of the crypto sites in this guide is licensed by the GRAI. Cloudbet holds a Curaçao licence, and BetUS, VegasAces and SlotsParadise are offshore too. Stake and BC.Game, which you'll also see mentioned on crypto forums, are not licensed in Ireland either.

In practice, that means:

We're not lawyers. Read our Irish betting law guide for the detail, and if you're unsure, ask a solicitor. On tax, see our crypto winnings and tax guide; buying and selling the coin itself can be a separate tax matter, so check with Revenue or an adviser.

Mind yourself

Crypto makes moving money quick and private, which is handy, but it also makes it easy to top up again and again without the pause a bank transfer gives you. Set a weekly budget before you buy any coin, and stick to it. If you find yourself buying more LTC to chase losses, stop and talk to someone. Gambling Care's helpline, 1800 936 725, is free, confidential and open around the clock. Our responsible gambling page lists more support.

My take

Litecoin is a grand coin for betting: cheap, quick and widely accepted. Of the sites we cover, Cloudbet is the most Litecoin-friendly because it lets you hold and withdraw LTC itself, while VegasAces and SlotsParadise take LTC in but pay out in Bitcoin. Whatever site you pick, check the network, the minimum and the payout coin on the cashier yourself, send a test first, and remember that none of these sites is licensed in Ireland. Go in with your eyes open and a budget you're comfortable losing.

Questions players ask

Which betting sites accept Litecoin in Ireland?

Of the sites we cover, Cloudbet, BetUS, VegasAces and SlotsParadise all listed Litecoin for deposits when we checked. None is licensed by the GRAI. Licensed Irish bookmakers generally don't accept crypto. Always confirm on the deposit screen, because cashiers change.

Can I withdraw in Litecoin?

It depends on the site. Cloudbet pays out in the coin you hold, so LTC in means LTC out. VegasAces and SlotsParadise named Bitcoin as their payout method when we checked. Read the withdrawal page before depositing.

What's the difference between Litecoin and BEP-20 Litecoin?

Native Litecoin runs on its own blockchain and uses addresses starting with L, M or ltc1. BEP-20 Litecoin is a token on BNB Smart Chain with 0x addresses. Same price, different networks. Send on the network that matches the deposit address.

How fast is a Litecoin deposit?

Litecoin makes a block about every two and a half minutes, so even a site that waits for six confirmations usually credits in around fifteen minutes. Busy periods or manual checks can add time.

Is there a minimum Litecoin deposit?

Yes. VegasAces and SlotsParadise listed $10 for crypto when we checked. Cloudbet shows the minimum on its deposit screen. Deposits below the minimum may not be credited.

Is betting with Litecoin legal in Ireland?

Only GRAI-licensed operators may lawfully take bets from Irish customers, and none of the crypto sites here is GRAI-licensed. No Irish regulator can help with disputes. Read our Irish law guide and get legal advice if unsure.
